Zodiac OEM Cabin Structures, located in Marysville, WA is seeking a full-time Lead Material Planner. We are looking for motivated and highly energetic individuals with a knack for problem solving and a desire to be challenged in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
Review and Execute Customer Demand and Sales Goals.
Plan Material needs using Zodiac Enterprise resource planning tools.
Act as liason between Program Management, customers and other Zodiac Functional groups.
Direct the work of Expeditors/Production Planners.
Develop production schedules and use Lean fundamentals to administer tasks.
Problem solve with cross functional groups to resolve issues that may impact production schedules.
Ensure execution of program directed tasks.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Exceptional skills in MS Excel, Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working in an MRP system.
Experience with Material Planning or Operations in a manufacturing environment required.
Excellent verbal, written, organization and planning skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams.
Excellent customer service when dealing with co-workers, customers and suppliers.
BS/BA or APICS certification preferred
Other Preferred Skills:
Experienced with Model Based Definition engineering a plus.
Understanding of basic project management concepts and procedures.
Understanding of quality and continuous improvement processes.
Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
Able to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to multi-task in order to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Experience and understanding of change management processes.
