Zodiac Aerospace Financial Analyst (Division) in CARSON, California
Zodiac Aerospace is a world leader in aerospace equipment and systems for commercial, regional and business aircraft, as well as helicopters and space applications.
The division financial analyst report to the division CFO :
Review & Control all financial statement from the division’s business unit and consolidate these results into the division financial package ensuring consistency and reliability
Perform specific or regular analysis on specific problematic or issue like cash flow, customer aging, inventory or industrial variance or any other analysis upon request of the division CFO
Consolidate and control the reliability of the forecast under responsibility of the division CFO (Business plan, reforecast, Free cash flow etc..)
Ensure consistency of accounting and reporting methodology within the division
In charge of monitoring main KPI and dashboard to support making decision process for executive committee
Follow up monitoring of corrective action plan with the BU
coordinate correct timing and collect of information from the BU, ensure consistency of data and prepare summary for top management
participate in elaborating the Division budget
Back up to any financial team within the division if needed
Ensure respect and correct understanding of standard and financial procedure within the division
Consolidate for the division sales, P&L, AR aging, inventory status, Working capital and Free cash flow incl breakdown per BU
Support the division CFO to prepare the Monthly Performance Review (MPR) Package for top management
Prepare with local CFO reforecast P&L with comments on risks and opportunities
Will work closely with division CFO and will report any inconsistencies and anomalies and ensure deadline are met at BU level and division level
Budget & BP
Take active part in the budget elaboration process
Review and perform various analysis on the budget performance
Ensure consistency of forecast with local CFO
Take part in defining new standard within the division regarding IFRS and industrial accounting standard (revenue recognition, standard roll up, inventory obsolescence, capitalized overheads etc..)
Review with division CFO on a regular basis EAC and impairment on capitalized development cost
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in a cost accounting/analysis position in a manufacturing environment.
Exposure to manufacturing departments/staff/activities, cost accounting, reporting and variance analysis.
Exposure to M3 and BFC software a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, MBA preferred
